Elisabetta Guglielmin, after studying piano with Massimo Somenzi and chamber music with Mario Brunello at the Conservatorio “A. Steffani” in Castelfranco Veneto, turned her attention to early music, achieving her Degree (Diploma) in harpsichord with the highest marks at the Conservatorio “A. Steffani” under Lia Levi Minzi. At the Fondazione Cini in Venice she attended the courses taught by Maestro Kenneth Gilbert and then became his pupil at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena, where she obtained a Diploma of Merit and after the final examination received an Honours Diploma and the “Emma Contestabile Scholarship”.
From 1997 to 2001 she specialized in harpsichord studies under Maestro Kenneth Gilbert at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg, which she entered with a merit scholarship. She attended trainee courses and masterclasses given by Roberto Pagano, Siegbert Rampe and Andreas Staier. In 1999 she was invited to join Wilbert Hazelzet’s class as teacher and co- répétiteur at the J.S. Bach Festival in Köthen, Germany.
She has given numerous concerts both in Baroque ensembles and in recital in the following prestigious European concert halls: the Sala Verdi Milan for the Società del Quartetto (live national broadcast on RadioTre), the Fondazione Cini Venice during the early music week, Saletta Brittoni Treviso, Teatro allo Spasimo Palermo, Teatro Sangiorgi Catania, Saletta dell’Associazione Clavicembalistica Bologna, Villa della Regina Turin, Atelier von Nagel Paris, Wiener Saal of the Mozarteum Salzburg, Kristienhovs Malmgår Stockholm, Leipzig Germany, Bach Fest Leipzig, Cologne Alte Musik Festival (Viersen) Köthen Castle, Greece, Bulgaria and the United States.
She has collaborated with a number of orchestras, ensembles and soloists including Marco Rizzi, Maxence Larrieu, Enrico Bronzi, Mario Brunello, Danilo Rossi, Wilbert Hazelzet, Valter Vestidello and I Sonatori de la Gioiosa Marca, Francesco Manara and the string orchestra of La Scala in Milan. Elisabetta teaches harpsichord for the Associazione Culturale3e60 in Turin and also teaches numerous courses and masterclasses both in Italy and abroad. She devotes herself by preference to French music of the 17/18th century and to the study of the complete works for harpsichord by J.S. Bach. Both recordings of the Complete Harpsichord Suites by Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and J. S. Bach Goldberg Variations + Aria Variata alla maniera Italiana are available for OnClassical ( Naxos America ). D. Scarlatti Harpsichord Sonate Double cd Album will be realized on April 2018 by OnClassical.
