Entry requirements
The courses are open to students holding a Conservatoire diploma (under the former Italian system) or equivalent qualifications of the Italian or international systems. Applicants without formal qualifications but with recognised artistic ability are also admitted. All courses are open to auditing students.
The course covers theanalysis of the chosen repertoire and the study of interpretative technique for instruments and voice alike. The advanced training courses in instrumental subjects run from November to October. Each course is organised in 9, 12 or 19 sessions of set study dates. Each student may choose which session to attend. The courses in opera singing begin in November and end in October, and comprise 12 sessions of about one hour each; in addition there will be 3 vocal technique sessions e 3 individual sessions with a coach.
At the end of the course every student at the appropriate level will have the opportunity to perform in a public recital. Aimart provides an accompanist for every scheduled study session. At the teachers’ discretion, students may also be involved in chamber music projects within the study sessions. All full students completing the courses receive certificates of attendance and attainment.
The advanced training courses are aimed at Italian and international students who wish to build on skills already acquired elsewhere.
Aims and methods are agreed case by case, according to each student’s needs.
