The two-year courses offer training aimed at specialist-level interpretative skills, deepening and completing the musical studies already undertaken.
The path also provides advanced, specialist skills in musical interpretation, extending the knowledge of students who already have a solid grounding. To this end the courses and individual study programmes set out both solo and ensemble work, from early to contemporary practice, complemented by cultural and language activities. They aim to give complete technical command of the instrument, full knowledge of the solo, orchestral and chamber repertoire, the ability to direct ensemble pieces and accompany vocal and instrumental soloists, and the capacity to make informed and coherent interpretative choices. Graduates go on to work as soloists, chamber musicians and orchestral players.
