A Swiss flautist, she completed her musical studies at the conservatoires of Lausanne, Biel and Berlin under the tutelage of E. Mülli, G. Lünenbürger and H. Tol.
In 1987 she won the “Concours National d’exécution musicale de Riddes” and, for three consecutive years, the coveted prize awarded by the “Ernst Göhner” Foundation in Zurich. As well as the recorder, she devotes herself to playing the Czakan and various types of small flutes, and to the rediscovery of the specific 19th-century classical repertoire.

Since 2020 she has been dedicated to promoting Leonardo da Vinci’s fissure flute, crafted in 2019 by the Leonardo da Vinci Cultural Research Association in Sion. She organises concerts and presentations of the instrument and, since 2020, has been promoting its teaching at the Valais Cantonal Conservatoire in Switzerland.
She has performed as a soloist at major international festivals and prestigious musical institutions, including the “Festival International de Música Antigua de Daroca”, the “Bern Dukaten Konzert” Festival, the «Musica e scienza» Festival, the Iber Caja Festival, the Caspar Sanz Festival, the Flatus Festival, the Higher Conservatoire of Music in Zaragoza, the Neuchâtel Conservatoire of Music, the Concerti a Villa Giulia, the National Museum of Musical Instruments in Rome and the Concerts at the Historical Museum in Lausanne.
She has recorded solo recitals for various international radio stations (Radio and Television Suisse Romande, Radio Suisse Internationale, Radio Digit and Vatican Radio). For the Swiss record label Flatus Recording she has recorded several CDs featuring works by B. Marcello, G. Donizetti, L. van Beethoven and L. Chaxelle. For Afflatus Editions she has edited the publication of music for the recorder by Roberto Valentino, Antonio Vivaldi, Martino Bitti, Joseph Plà and Filippo Ruge.
As a teacher, her pedagogical approach is characterised, at the introductory level, by a progressive, individualised method, and at the advanced level by an in-depth analytical study of musical language, harmonic relationships and the rules governing interpretative choices and the execution of ornamentation.
She has taught the recorder at various international early music courses (“Novantica”, Frascati, Tuscania, Santulussurgiù) and held seminars at Swiss and European institutions, including the Neuchâtel Conservatoire of Music, the “Santa Cecilia” Conservatoire of Music in Rome and the Higher Conservatoire of Music in Zaragoza. From 2015 to 2020 she was a recorder teacher at the Nazareth Institute in Rome.
