He attended Leonard Bernstein’s advanced courses at the “Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia” and Gennady Rozhdestvensky’s at the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. He made his conducting debut in 1992 at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome with the ballets Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and Giselle.
