Marios Panteliadis
The pianist Marios Panteliadis has appeared as a soloist in many important halls: St Martin-in-the-Fields in London, the Musikverein in Vienna, Sydney Opera House, the Megaron in Athens, the Megaron in Thessaloniki and the “Auditorium Parco della Musica” in Rome, among others.

Other appearances include the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire (Rome), Ravello – Villa Rufolo, Teatro Alighieri (Ravenna), Teatro Savoia (Campobasso), the Auditorium of the University of Tuscia (Viterbo), the Orsanmichele Museum (Florence), Villa d’Este (Tivoli), Wheeldon Hall (Matlock Music Festival), Senate House in London, Petersfield Festival Hall, Steinway Hall (London), Garrett Hall (Washington DC), and concerts in various halls in Austria, Australia, France, Greece, South Korea, England, Italy, Romania, Spain and the USA. Marios Panteliadis has been described as “an inspired and exceptional soloist, with heroic and spacious playing” (Petersfield Post, March 2015), the creator of “lovely poetry, authentically dark sonorities” (International Piano magazine, January 2016), and recognised as “a virtuoso, a true artist with indisputable musical qualities” (Aldo Ciccolini, 2013).

He has performed with the
Paralos Orchestra in Athens
(Beethoven’s Concerto No. 3, conducted by Eleftherios Kalkanis), the

Petersfield Orchestra (Brahms’s Concerto No. 1, conducted by Robin Browning) and, as conductor and soloist, with the historic Meininger Hofkapelle in Germany and with MSO (Mecklenburgh Square Orchestra, made up of some of the finest students of leading London institutions) in Mozart’s Concerto No. 23, K. 488. Alongside his solo career he also devotes himself to the chamber repertoire, often working with important artists such as the violinists George Zacharias, Ilija Marinković, Fabrizio Falasca and Francisco Coser , and in various ensembles, among them his “Mythos” trio , founded in Rome, with appearances in Italy, Greece, Malta, South Korea and the USA . He has also often worked with the soprano Simona Mihai, a regular guest at the Royal Opera House in London Italy, Greece, Malta, South Korea e USA. He has studied with teachers including Parry Derembey (Athens Conservatoire, 2008–2010), Sergio Perticaroli (“Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia”, 2006–2008), Noel Flores and Jan Jiracek (University of Vienna, 2010–2012) and Tatiana Sarkissova (Royal Academy of Music, London, 2013–15), obtaining top marks and distinction throughout his studies. At the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole he took the special courses with the pianist Eliso Virsaladze (2013) and the Trio di Parma (chamber music, 2009). He has also taken part in many masterclasses with leading pianists such as Aldo Ciccolini, William Grant Naboré, France Clidat, Lilya Zilberstein, Pascal Devoyon and Valery Sagaidachny.

Besides the piano, Marios Panteliadis studied
orchestral conducting at the “S. Cecilia” Conservatoire in Rome
with Dario Lucantoni,

graduating in October 2011 (three-year degree). During his time in London he also studied conducting with Sian Edwards and Paul Brough at the Royal Academy of Music, and subsequently on various conducting courses with Romolo Gessi, Julius Kalmar, Sigmund Thorp and Michalis Economou. He has conducted orchestras including the City of Athens Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Veneta and the Meininger Hofkapelle . From November 2012 until 2017 he taught principal piano at the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire in Rome on the foundation courses (formerly pre-academic), and since February 2019 he has taught principal piano at the L. Perosi Conservatoire in Campobasso. In 2014/15 he took theLRAM course (Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music) in London, studying teaching methods for piano students of various ages and levels.
